Overclocking

Hi Guys,

I am looking at upgrading my current rig >> to try out some overclocking.

I intend to use the 4670k, but not sure which MB to pick. Currently looking along the lines of Asrock's Extreme 4 or MSI's G45 Gaming. Hope to get some inputs on this.

I will let it stay at a modest 4.2~4.5 ghz oc, for cooler, looking at the h100i or hyper 212x. Which is better?

h100i will be better in terms of cooling performance. Hyper 212x is also a good air cooler. But does the job decent.

As for the mobo and cpu. Not sure why you need overclocking? But i guess is just wanna try out what is overclocking?

Either one, MSI Z87 G45 Gaming or Asrock Extreme 4 also can. Been happy with my OC results of 4.6ghz. Trying to push more once i have a good custom water loop.
