My Geforce 560ti recently went kaput on me. Below are the symptoms

  1. Greenish pixels appearing when loading BIOS then BSOD after Windows load
  2. Removed card from mobo, change to internal graphic display and used DDU to clean uninstall Nvidia drivers
  3. Cleaned gold contact point on card and plug back to mobo, no display even in bios, but hsf is running
  4. Changed back to internal graphic and check device, Windows doesn't detect my GPU

Possibly GPU died or PSU failing...?

Can't decide if i should overhaul or get a new rig? mine is an i5 2400 still working fine, not sure if its worth to make a new rig?

I'm using a Leadtek GTX 560 too! It crashes sometimes. Think yours and mine are nearing it's end.

Hey i had nearly the exact same rig life as yours! 2400, H77 board (changed once already), rams died once already, now GPU (5850) dying and i think PSU no longer stable. I got a new rig and kept this one on life support for 2 weeks to see if it can pull through.

Didnt make it, now turns off randomly during normal use. Wont boot up (got a feeling PSU had a heart attack), fans / lights dont turn on anymore after pressing switch etc.

RIP old PC, you served me well. Make way for the monster now.

I feel that the 560ti series have a lot of issues. Mine included.

If I remember correctly, it has something to do with the drivers.

anyway if you decide to just get a new graphic card, I recommend getting thermal paste and do a internal cleaning of dust in your case and repaste a new goop of thermal paste.
