Overloading the 5v argb port

This is the scenario

The mb has 2 5v argb header
1st one connects to controller which has 6 fans and aio led. Controller is fully used.

2nd one connects to to controller which has 3 fans. There is 6 more slots left.

Now i want to add the lian li strimer plus to the rig. They come with their own controller too. Can I split the 2nd argb header so that it has two controller fixed in to it? Will it overload. Initially I fixed the lian li controller to the extra slot on the 2nd controller. Burned the dam wire up. (not sure why )

How do I set all this up without burning the whole house down?

I honestly do not think that is a good idea bro. It does seem like there are a lot of compatibility issues here.

Plus, it might put you in danger too. Is the Lian Li brand reliable? Sounds like you may be better off going with a more reputable brand?

Best is to an ARGB setup with a controller. Usually the controller will come with a 4 pin molex or something that connects to external power to prevent overloading on the ARGB port.

Lian Li makes some of the best casings and parts.

I think I'm making it too complicated. Let me rephrase.

What I have currently

1 to 6 argb fan hub (6 Ports PWM, 8 Ports ARGB, SATA Power-in)

1 to 8 argb fan hub (8 Ports PWM, 8 Ports ARGB, SATA Power-in)

9 argb fans

24pin and triple 8pin strimer which connects to its own proprietary controller which requires a 5v argb header and sata port

Motherboard with 2 5v argb headers

Currently all 9 fans are connected to 2 controllers since I can't find one that goes 1 to 9

You don't need to connect the argb cable from the lian li controller if u are not planning to use mobo software for it, just use the buttons on the controller. I think thats better as mobo software can be pretty limited in effects anyway.
