Hi guys, just asking, when NSFs go for overseas exercise, is there a chance that they will pay for their own tickets from their allowance? Because I heard from a friend who just returned from an overseas exercise that his pay for the subsequent month was way below what is usual (2digits)

that doesn't explain it is due to overseas exercise.

Did you ask your friend why? or your friend doesn't know why and speculated it might be due to that.

Is it because your friend have receive advance pay before going overseas?
I know some units, before they go overseas, SAF will give them advance pay for the period they are overseas.
Then of course for the next month, SAF will deduct the advance pay.
