Any feedback on this P2P? Former bankers founded this. Is it less risky to invest compare to other p2p lenders?

Why would it be less risky? Does the term "former bankers" guarantee anything?

Thought bankers mean more experience in handling the risk management on borrowers approval?

Found another P2P lending:
https://www.validus.sg/invest.html
Need to invest so much money, more risky. min $5K

Not sure should I invest in p2p? High risk high return?

Lending like this is not much different from buying high yield bonds.

So many people got burned from P2P still not scare?

If the company is good, it'll get loan from a bank, why pay higher interest to you.

This is high risk and over 50% chance that the company would not pay interest or return your capital in the end.

Of course they are good at risk management, they pass all the risk to the investor and make sure there is no downside for themselves even if the loan defaults.

Whether or not borrower defaults, they get paid. All upside and no downside. Isn't that the ultimate low risk high return investment? :s13:

I tried Moolahsense last year on 2 occasions. Got all my money and interest back.
However, you have to do your due diligence on the companies you want to invest in.

Not sure why you would revive this old thread. I suggest we archive this and other P2P lending..

Or if you want high risk but potentially no returns.
have you tried? you had no returns? i have some gains from it. but yes i agree there's the risk. so should be a small part of your portfolio at least i feel. what do you think?

People win Toto, 4D, Big Sweep and also at Casino. Should buying Toto, 4D, Big Sweep and going to Casino to gamble be part of our portfolio?

If a company is good, it borrows from the bank. Why borrow from public and pay a higher interest?

Most companies that use P2P are problem companies. Banks don't want to lend them because of some internal issues, so they have no choice but to go P2P for fund.

Most P2P companies will eventually default their payment and investors loses their investment. The one that benefit the most are the P2P platforms and the borrowers.

People who promote these platform are usually employees of the P2P company or engage by them to market the platforms.

Don't be a fool and take this high risk investments.
