Im not sure which one to go...

I've been to Pai before and I really love that place... and there are things to do there...

Doi Inthanon I havent been there, but i assume there's nothing much to do there except for sunrise and sceneries

I have limited time in ChiangMai so I dont think I can visit both...

Btw the way im riding motorbike so... quite xiong if I have to ride to 2 places...

Limited time in cnx as you said, so doi inthanon better option and shorter ride too.

And you still can make inthanon a day trip but it would be good to spend a night there. Can do some trekking, waterfall etc.

Pai is tough as the journey is thru a long and winding road (900+ turns. And it is full of ATs.

Doi Inthanon is much easier to access. You can stay in tents (like the locals) or in chalets. It can get quite cold in the night during year end. Bring warm clothing.

Theres actually some accommodation like chalet types somewhere midway to the summit. Probably not listed on those agoda etc. yeah another alernative is bring your own (or rent) tent from the park hq, theres a campsite there.

In anyway depends on your inclination, can go as day trip and be back to cnx by late afternoon

Okay guys im back safely :D Not bad for a rider who has 0 experience in motorbiking...

I went Doi inthanon and back CM in a day... Worth it but scary experience as it was raining and freakking cold... and I itchy backside detoured to some ******* ulu roads on the way back to CM... If my bike broke down there I think it will be hours before I can find help... Good thing is can beo very very beautiful cloud forest.... + the cold and the rain :p Too bad I was too stressed at the moment the really enjoy the view...

Then next day went to Pai, stayed for 1 day, and went back CM... ride was much longer and harder but more enjoyable as its main road :p...
