I just got my executive unit walls done up. I had a great headache when finding a reliable contractor for painting.When my cousin recommended a company called house painter singapore to me, i was hesitating about if they were reliable or not. But i gave my cousin '"face""and decided to give their painting service a try. The outcome was not bad and was done in a short period of time.

i enquiry my boss's friend who a sub contractor can repair light, install scv, wc etc, he charge $400+ to paint 3rm hdb flat but i have to supply paint. $1000+ if using good paint. Is the price reasonable?

Not very sure but it sounds quite reasonable to me.

Does ur painter apply 2 code of oil based sealer? My hm need to apply 2 code of oil based sealer first den paint with good ici paint. I found a Reno contractor who charge reasonable price.

Got 1 painter quoted me using Nippon Paint with oil based sealer cost $1500. Do u have painter hp no to contact?

I engaged their service and they started painting today. Was quoted $1350 for my 4room flat, using nippon odourless all in one. 5 doors and main gate $250. water based sealer $80. Total damage $1580.

Review after first day.
1) All the paint for walls and gates and pipes brand new. Sealer and ceiling paint (Matex) do not appear brand new. Painters brought them to start the job first while waiting for salesman to buy the paint over.
2) Painters managed to drip white paint all over my floor and furniture despite covering with plastic. What's the point of the plastic then?
3) The water pressure for my taps was turned to maximum without asking me first.
4) Two of them showered in my bathroom without asking me first. Isn't it basic courtesy?
5) All of them left my flat after covering paint cans and removing plastic covers and I was supposed to sweep all the dust and mopped up all the paint.

I have feedback-ed to the salesman after the painters left. Hopefully they will improve for the remaining days. Will update again tomorrow.

the job was supposed to be completed in 3 days. 3 days passed and all the pipes, doors and service balcony still not painted yet. terribly disappointed in the service, walls and ceiling have uneven patches, messy paint drips everywhere and i was supposed to clean their mess after them.
