Pltr got fundamentals meh? Their client seems like the US gov only. What is the growth potential here? Quite perplexed why people are jumping in. Pump and dump stock?
Inhouse solution will most likely fail and drain a company's resources. Its like hiring a maid to put it simply, initially you hire a part time maid but over time cos your wife wants the house to be clean and less clutter... you also realise you have 3 kids and your house is getting more messy in a short amount of time. The part time maid works initially but as the house gets more messy, 2 to 3 hours is not even enough for her to clean. You get frustrated at her performance also and decided to find a full time maid.
Palantir is the company or agency for the full time maid and before you know it, you signed a contract for 5 years to hire the maid.
The maid is their forward deploy engineer. Check out their company culture too. Its one of the hardest company to get in so your maid is top of the line and her service which in this case is Gotham or foundry has 17 years in the making. 5 years later will you continue the service? The maid is so efficient, she doesn't work at your house anymore within a year cos she introduce irobot, smart home technology like Google nest routines for you. She taught you how to use Google nest... before you know it, you are a grandpa now and you are going to have grand kids... the story continues
