Palit 1060 3gb stormx at $230 new or palit 1060 3gb dual at $240 used. Hi, I found those 2 1060 at my local marketplace and its the cheapest 1060 available. I was planning to go for the stormx as its cheaper but I heard that it doesn't have any heatpipe while dual version have heatpipes. As 1060 is a hot card, I scare that the cooler in stormx doesn't cool well
Anyone have stormx 1060 and wish to share your opinion?

For 10 bucks difference, I recommend going for the Dual. The problem with the dual is actually the light weight heatsink from what I recalled. However, it should manage the heat output of the GTX 1060 if you do not overclock it too much.

Right all pascal card are better in terms of performance and thermal.

Since u are so worried about the heat. Why not just open your side case blow with a fan (string and big fan to blow it. Definitely stay below 50 on load:s8:

He may be better off going to the scrapyard, getting a race car dual triple radiator, then mod the piping to suit the graphic card.

Should be Uber Cooling
By that same token, might as well go for those semi 18 wheeler radiators.. :p
