u are the one who is sweepingly classifying here.
I'm pointing out there is no one single event to link anyone as
self-radicalised individuals.
most moderate Muslims believe in jihad that is self-struggle and that secularism is the proper way.
Yes, I agree. But they may have certain tots that may seems to be
self-radicalised...
not jihad that is strapping bombs on oneself and blowing it up in a shopping centre to prove a point.
Thats why I said the "Holy way is not all about killing people..."
I would think that an individuals can sympathise with what is happening in Palestine but to decalre "I want to join Hamas and kill all the jews" is another thing altogether right?
So what is the tipping point? I asked for a check list so that families can know what to look out for...
one is radicalised BEFORE learning how to make bombs, undergoing training and becoming a terrorist.
Radicalised to be what?
Also, how does having certain sentiments means they broke the law, since the law never "outlaw" these thoughts?
I am talking about radicalised and you want to label them as terrorist. Do we investigate radicalised people to see if they are becoming terrorist or we wait for them to become one??
This thread talks about terrorist... Also self radicalised terrorist... otherwise, self-radicalised what?
I think of radicalised individuals as pre-cursors to the JI six who were detained under ISA. I did not see SDP speaking out for the JI six. So why a fuss over this case?
In thats people are mistaken, I am not connected to SDP...
You might want to put this down to SDP making noise... I merely want to point out that these people may be arrested for "thought crime", when these thoughts themselves are not crimes...
