this guy's data goes back to 2010 & also shows asset allocation of the funds.
Can see pru quite aggressive with their portfolio according to the asset allocation from the blog.
Anyway someone mentioned the key point, what are the declared bonus when the market is not good? Is the smoothing really working?
Around the same. 2012 or 2011 they even declare addtional bonus.
I think they smoothen the return, last 3 years my bonus much lesser than par fund return.![]()
Your policy projection is based on 4.75 or 5.25? Anyway for those with projection of 4.75< will the insurer still honour the returns capped at that level?
Din do exact calculation, but the actual one is somewhere between these 2 values.
Gxgx, at least still higher than the current capped level. But I guess good intervention by MAS since endowments are meant to be low risk products.
Mine is whole life leh.
I thought endowment they use lower risk combination?
Lmao the fear mongering by insurance agents who keep saying no fear in their policies' returns
means if my premiums is $1000 for last year, i only get $14?![]()
It is pretty strong to have a positive return last year.
ssb, cpf, savings accounts and fd also positive return
but i just want to know the answer to my question? do you know?
