No. Panadol suppresses the pain receptors as well as fever. However the panadol with cold and flu etc do have additional stuff to help with other symptoms such as running nose and even cough. But all these just help to supress the symptoms for your body to heal itself which is usually the case.

The only meds i believe that can help fight the virus is anti biotics. But we don't prescribe them as much because there's a chance the virus becomes immune to it and you have to move to a stronger one

Btw I'm not a medical professional so i can be wrong
Antibiotics does not work on flu or viruses...

Oseltamivir treats Influenza A and B. Is that the answer you are looking for?
