Paris in December

Anyone currently in Paris now? How is the situation? Will be travelling there in December and wondering if I should change my destination

Either minimize stay in Paris and stay in france away from the major cities or consider other destinations in Europe?

don’t expect it to last till dec but nobody can say for sure.

They are not targeting people. With the tense situation in so many places, avoid high streets

Simply avoid areas with large noisy gatherings of above 10 people. Surely it is not difficult to spot trouble and walk away? I spent time in France and when most other people appear to be rushing in the direction opposite to me, I would be alert to check what is ahead. When there are suddenly police vehicles, you have to be alert too.

Paris is not shutting down. People still go about their own business. Tourists still visit. Conferences are still held.
