Part time degree

Do they also look at your poly GPA for part time degree or they only look at relevant courses?

Unfortunately none of both.
Lowest part time degree can accept is like 2.0 ( I heard some even accept 1.9)
Relevant? No such say. As long as it's local diploma, 100% can go. Unless you are taking engineering or sciences then got relevancy.

Apart from Unisim (there's interviews and in some hot courses, they look at GPA), the other private institutions don't really look at your GPA.

Uni of Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Southampton in SIM GE looks at GPA cos they only take in smaller group of students.

I believe Ngee Ann-Adelaide will also take GPA into consideration.

unisim part time accepted my friend into engineering, as i recalled his GPA is lower than mine.
1.9 something.

Think simon batch was 5 years ago. Now with the institute become locally recognized, heard they even reject applicants with those 3.2 gpa. Now the entry requirement become more strict unlike in the past.

I know someone who was rejected by Unisim after his interview (bachelor in social works). No reasons give, so either he effed up the interview or because his GPA was too low (<2).

my batch was jan 11.
my friend batch is jul 13.

part time is different, please do not link it to full time courses, entry requirements differ.
the sch has insufficient students now for part time, you think they care about their reputation ?
education is a good business model, the only way they can get constant cash flow to due to high student intake where students pay up first before going for classes and exams.

is very easy to sprout hearsay...
this requirement is for full time students.
part time is less strict, considering the fact that student intake is getting lesser.

if i'm not wrong, social works have quite a number of scholars (students with reasonable GPA) as their modules are particularly demanding.

he would have better luck if he try HRM, business or engineering courses.
