Partial Upgrading need advise

Need to improve gaming already...
(at 1080p on a Eizo FORIS FS2333 Gaming IPS LCD Monitor)

Current Specs:
CPU: i7-3770k (3.5GHz, Turbo Boost @3.9GHz) processor overclocked to 4.2GHz stable with Noctua CPU heatsink 120mm fan Cooler model - NH-U12S
Mainboard: ASUS P8Z77-V-DELUXE mainboard
Rams: Kingston Hyper-X 2000MHz DDR3 8GB Kit Rams(2GBx4)
GPU: MSI R7970 Lightning Twin Frozr IV 3GB graphics card

Retain: CPU and mainboard

Buying:
Rams: $340 2nd-hand G.skill Trident X ddr3-2400 32gb ram (4x8gb) CAS latency 10, Timing 10-12-12-31 1.65V
GPU: New $939 SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX VEGA 64 8G HBM2 Graphics Card
along with $171 new Corsair Obsidian Series 450D Mid Tower Case adding on 2x $26ea new Corsair Air Series SP140 LED Blue High Static Pressure 140mm Fans

Understood and read that new GPUs like the RX Vega 64 , GTX1080 and GTX1080 Ti might not be bottlenecked by older CPUs like the i7-3770k if paired with 2400MHz rams & above, thus somehow decided as above.

Alternative (save up money for new CPU, e.g. i7-8700k, mainboard & DDR4 rams), buy only $350 2nd-hand Sapphire AMD R9 Fury unlocked to have the same CU as a Fury X is enough, to last for few months until save up enough money...

Intel CPUs do not really benefit that much from high speed RAM. There is very little difference between DDR3-1600 and DDR3-2400.

I would suggest you either add another 2X4GB or just get 2X8GB. 32GB has very limited usage and certainly not for gaming.

As for the GPU, Nvidia is the way to go. I suggest you wait for 19 Sep for the RTX 20X0 reviews and then go for either 20X0 or 10X0 GPUs.

Edit: that Fury deal you mentioned looks good since Fury X will easily outperform GTX 1060.

For 1080p 60-75hz, get a gtx 1060 6gb (around $300 2nd hand) or gtx 1070 (around $400 2nd hand) for cheap now. Go higher tier only if you're going to upgrade monitor. I won't recommend Fury X even though the performance is okay, they are a heat monster. Nvidia gtx 10 series is more optimized and less heaty. Forgo RTX cards. Too expensive to consider.

Also, get 2x4gb ram, preferably the same one you currently have or around the same specs. Could let you play most stuff without any hiccup.
