Parts Suggestions for New Rig Setup

CPU - either Ryzen 2700x or I7 8700k

Motherboard - any suggestions for both Ryzen 2700x / I7 8700k ?

Ram - @ least 32gb not sure which brand is good , any suggestions ?

HDD (OS) - SSD - any suggestions for approx 200gb + model ? corsair / samsung ?


HDD storage will be using back my old 2tb SATA HDD for storage of movies and games etc


PSU - 650 watt or higher CM or corsair

Case - any suggestions ? ( i prefer cases with easy snap on for HDDs ) or anything else which provides easy mounting of peripherals .

Never state what use and budget..?

If u go ryzen u need fast ram 3200mhz preferably. Why do u need 32gb though? Recommend at least 500gb ssd. 250 use up fast nowadays..

Why 32GB? 16GB is enough for you unless you are running several VMs and working on Medium Format RAW files in Photoshop.

budget im not sure , but anything below 2k is ok

If just gaming, microsoft office, internet surfing, watching YouTube and other normal usage, 16GB of RAM is enough.

Spend your budget on a 500GB or bigger capacity SSD. Install your OS and games on the SSD. They will load much faster than on a hard disk. Another reason for buying a bigger SSD is that game installation sizes can be quite big. Example, Final Fantasy XV installation size is a minimum of 100GB.
