Once you have bought, custodian is with say FSM or IB SG, these are Brokers (not banks) - And if accumulate over the years to big sum, can you sleep safely at night? You not afraid like Pan-Electric crisis? :s13:

If you keep for long-term for years, what is that commission of additional $10 or 20 per transaction? =:p

For SG-listed stocks, it just costs $10.70 (incl GST) to transfer one of your holdings to CDP. So for SG stocks, I will continue saving transaction fees.

After accumulating a few hundred k of one counter, just pay the $10.70 to transfer to CDP, rather than incurring $10-20 per transaction over several years.

But I agree its good to diversify custodians, thats why my stocks are held by IBKR (with SIPC protection), SCB, FSMOne, CDP, OCBC (CPFIS), UOB (SRS). :s13:

Normal brokerage have commission fees right? Invest saver just buy more when prices Low n buy less when prices high?

Invest saver commission is 0.82%.

How much do you usually buy? In terms of amount.
