I'm going for capital appreciation instead, don't need the passive income as I'm still earning a salaried income.

That works to be roughly 5.5% on your portfolio value, pretty darn good mate :s12:

My dividend collection record since I started my investing journey 9 years ago.
Aiming for $25k next year.

Received $328 from bonds and interests from savings.
In total, I achieved around $2k per month in 2018. :s12:

More seriously, earning an income (with progression), saving some of that income, and prudent, age appropriate, long-term investing is a formula that works better.

You could be right. And I am actually gravitating to your formula (with appropriate deviations) . Surely but slowly.

are you planning to include your CPF interest for 2018?

Definitely. I have been keeping track of my CPF accounts ever since I made the decision to start my property investing journey this year. Got a queue no. for Tengah bto. :s12:
To be honest, I did not bother much with CPF in the past. :s13:
But now, it is time to make good use of my CPF OA.

Do you have the figure for his previous years? I vaguely recall his previous years also around that region. He said it went up..wondering by how much..

Not sure, don't really keep track.

Think this figure will breach 200 K next year.
