Hi I am planning to go Japan again in Dec from 01-21. My passport expired in March 2016. Will there is an issue since it is quite close to expiry.

u need 6mths validity to travel. so u need to get a new passport

Go apply new one. Intl travel needs min 6 mths, u dun wan to test waters later they send u back to sg

Ok thanks I will wait for the 9months before expiry to chance at ICA then since they allow to bring over maximum 9 month balance.

they should send you reminder by June 2015 to make new pp, which would be 9 mths.
