Anyone know where to get this? Can be Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto. If not, need to consider how to ship, but the hard part is understanding the website

Saw it being sold in a few places. One is at Arashiyama right next to the Randen station. Price around 1200-1300 yen only. Got the foldable as well as mini or normal size.

i think quite a number of places in kyoto sells, like near to those tourist attractions; higashiyama area near kiyomizudera, more than one shop selling. should be quite obvious as they display outside the shop near the streets. usually got demo to attract your attention.
