Anyone noticed when switching between apps, there is a second of delay before the app 'snaps' back to the top?

Yup... Mine too. It is more like an animation issue... U realise that when u select an app to reopen, the app animates to zoom in but nothing really happens. Only after it 'snaps' back then the app is 'back in control'. This can be seen in Wassap that it only reconnects after the 'snap' back.

Am encountering this. Extremely bad UI heuristics. Makes the phone appear laggy when I'm pretty sure the hardware is more than capable.

Here's another one: when you have the Parallax effect activated, when you exit from any app back to a Home screen, you will notice the Home screen icons shift by 1-2px sideways when it "settles".

I think I know what's going on: all the transitions are using static previews of the app when entering/exiting apps; hence the behavior are as if the thumbnail (images) of the apps are being rendered completely before handing over control to the real active app in the background.
