It's nearing 1.4k liao before any discount and not counting monitor. Ryzen 5 is more value for money. 3.6ghz after oc on all 6 cores and having 12 threads will benefit your video editing while priced at i5-tier. You can say no chance for i7 if you have to squeeze within 1.5k given the high commanding price of the ram, z370 mobo, and ssd.

Qnix is a hit or miss. You can get it for cheap, but you could also get problematic unit without local support. So, you have to take your chance. If you don't need professional colours (due to TN panel), Dell SE2417HG is a good and cheap choice.

They didn't do their research enuff that's why kena. If you know what you want and done your research, why still go to PC Theme to get chopped on price as well?

Tradepac is good if you know your prices and parts well and they have no way to influence you in choosing the parts.

However, if you're green or unsure, they might start to chop carrot head.

PC Themes has a good reputation and. They also deal fairly and usually gives a good discount if you know how to bargain.

Anyway, the part list are just a guideline to calculate the price of the build.

If you could give a better deal from tradepac, go ahead and list down the parts/prices like Singupingu.

It is up to OP to decide where to get the parts from...

If you're so kind not wanting ts and other ppl who ask for recommendations to not "get chopped" at SRP of the components they need, then do a recommendation list as well with everything from Tradepac and the alternative they need if the components "out of stock" from Tradepac. Thank you.

is there a faster itx budget mobo out there that can reach 800+ mbps wifi?

CPU + MOBO = $397

Graphics Card: Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4GB $200 (after 20 lazada dollars discount)

Storage: Samsung EVO 850 250GB $125 (qoo10 with coupon)
Can anyone who have experience with asrock Z370 know if this ssd is compatible with the motherboard? I do not see the EVO 250GB on one of the compatible storage on ASROCK website but the forums said it does work with the EVO 950.

Also, given that M.2 is also available? I was wondering if there are any benefits in using M.2 rather than 2.5 SSD?

Get a 3gb gtx1060 not gtx 1050 TI. Price difference not alot but performance will be different.

Graphics Card: If buying Zotac 1050 or 1060 cards, make sure dont get the mini model, the thermal performance is not good. Mini is the one with 1 fan only.

RAM: To cut cost, just get normal kingston or crucial ram can alr.

PSU: This PSU not good, pay abit more for EVGA 500BV, it's 80+ Bronze.

Case: Don't get Nano S, your graphics card will have no air to breathe facing the psu. I personally find Fractal Design Core 500 ITX case very good for airflow with some fine tuning of the fans config.

Z370N Gigabyte would be the lowest priced board with Intel AC8265/AC8260.

Otherwise the cheapest you can find is probably the one you're looking at with AC3165/3168

Even if i do, its usually old strategy games. The graphics card should be able to handle my 4k 60hz monitor and an extra 720 TV display. I heard that trial version of windows 10 can be used as per normal. Means a better suggestion is to use trial version/carouhell the $8 dollars windows 10 activation key? I would save a cool 150 doing that.

die liao, i purchase the 1050ti single fan model already actually. But can return for refund. The difference in price is still quite substantial to me as this is the first time i am building. I was actually looking at GTX 1050 but just happened the Ti version was at a very good price on lazada and i had an extra $20 voucher. In future i do hope to upgrade or build a better rig

I have very bad experience with kingston sd cards. they keep failing on me somehow. Ever since, i have been avoiding Kingston brand just like how i avoid acer and lenovo. I haven done much research on crucial, are they any good?

I had the longest time choosing my casing. Initially i wanted a small form factor and was looking at some pre built ones like aftershock impluse 2, MSI Trident 3. I hooted the 1212 sale for trident 3 but then lazada play trick on me and call me say actually no stock.... SIGH. It was a good 7700+gtx 1060 for $1460. To me it was a steal for a sff desktop. Nano S somehow is one of the cases which fits most of the criteria that i needed, and i heard it was easy to build in that case. Regarding airflow, i think the Nano S will be fine as long as i do not have any overclock. I have the option to put in more fans but i will monitor the heat for the first few weeks first.

Thanks, i will check this out too. will u recommend ASRock Z370 Fatal1ty ITX? it also does have AC8265. I do not have much experience of MOBO Wifi, but those that comes with ASUS really sucks. I always end up having to buy an external wifi adapter just to browse normally. I was wondering if the upgrade to Intel MIMO wifi will save me the trouble of buying the external wifi adapter.

A lot of people make that mistake, because single fan is cheap so they just buy.

That single fan card in Nano S will definitely give you bad temperatures.

Here's a example:

See how close the card is to the PSU, hardly any air can reach it. Plus you are outputting on a 4k and a 720p secondary display, it will constantly be on load and hot.

I can confidently say, no need monitor, it will be hot.

Edit: kingston sd card is not the same as RAM, RAM hard to go wrong with any brand.

Save $150 from the Windows 10 key, put into buying GTX1060 3GB, substantially better performance. Still save about $80 from initial budget.

Geez. Compare that to my Silverstone which has a dedicated GPU compartment and 2 fans right next to the GPU
