PC bootup without (POST beep & display output)

Yeah, it happens intermittently.

I have to reconnect the DVI cable connected to my add-on gfx card, then it can boot up normally with normaly POST beep after multiple tries.

Which component could be faulty? display card?

is the list of your rig on the right side?

next do u have onboard display to test?

sighz, it happened again.

Finally got it to boot up after several tries of reconnecting DVI port.

Gfx card / PSU issue?

It wld also hang after about 10mins of usage but my internet radio still playing normally

sighz, problem reoccurs again today.

- Bootup, open google chrome with few tabs, hang
- able to boot up after couple of times of reconnect power & dvi cable, then hang again
- repeat, point 2, hang again - only open chrome with internet radio
- gave up, time to leave home for biz class

Looks like need to bring chassis down to sls for diagnosis as i don't haf any spare psu or gfx card to isolate the problem.

any1 has any inputs?

Scan your ram and HDD for any failure? But b4 that try to clean the ram gold contact with soft eraser and test one by one in each slot and see.

Yes, did cleaning using eraser & found some burn marks.

Time to save up & change rig soon :o
