TL: DR : Currently in a PC building crisis. Shitty Nvidia cleared 10 series stocks and now i have trouble buying GPUs. I wanted a 1070 Ti but it became more expensive. So now i have a few choices. (1070 Ti(Expensive).RTX 2060(Cheaper but uncertain). VEGA 56(Cheaper but worser performance). Vega 64(More expensive and better performance but shittier cooling).
I am into strategy games and certain games which are CPU intensive and GPU intensive as well.
Hi,i am planning to build a new pc(my very first) and i am on the fence about what GPU to buy.
CPU:Ryzen 5 2600 w/ Stock cooler
MOBO:MSI B350M MORTAR
RAM:GSKILL TRIDENT 2X8GB
HDD:Toshiba 2TB HDD
SSD:Samsung 860 Evo 250 GB
GPU:???
PSU:550W PSU(Brand not decided yet)
Case: Phanteks P300
Now here comes the problems with GPU. Originally i decided to go with a GTX 1070 Ti and be done with it. "Hey, i'll just work for a month and then purchase the parts". But then after 3/4 of my way into work,NVIDIA announces that they are clearing 10-Series stock to attract attention to the RTX series.
"This is BS" i thought to myself.
Now i am currently stuck.Low 10 Series GPU stock means that almost every GPU's price has increased by a hefty $100-200(except entry level gpus). I am currently thinking of a few GPU choices.
I can:
>Hope for the best and wait for a miracle to happen after work ends this month which brings the GTX 1070 Ti price down to $580~$680 again.
>Switch over to the RTX 2060 which is priced similarly and (maybe) better than the 1070 Ti. Especially paranoid as i care about the performance and my research online shows that 1070 Ti is better than 2060 vice versa. (1070Ti outperforms 2060 but 2060 outperforms 1070 Ti as well) There is no definitive research that states which is the clear winner.
>Switch to the Vega 56 whereby it is slightly cheaper but offers lesser performance. (Particularly worried about game performance in this scenario)
>Switch to the Vega 64 which is slightly more expensive and better performance but has worser cooling which i am paranoid about.
>Give in to my paranoia and lose all hope building a PC
>Listen to some of your reccomendations and alternative ways i should buy a GPU.
I am also open to any reccomendations on any PC parts i have listed.

I want to game on 1080p.
I want 60 fps on every game.(Maybe slightly overkill as well)
I am mainly into simulation games and strategic games whereby a PC has to handle thousands/tens of thousands of entities constantly.
