Setup: Dual monitor 1440p gaming on esports title (am fine w not maxing out settings)

I throw budget out the window after checking GPU prices

Confirmed parts:

CPU: R5 5600x

Mobo: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite

SSD: WD Blue SN550 NVME 1TB (yes I'm aware of the no dram thing)
(Plan is to go 1TB SSD then get a 2nd one later when I need more memory, either crucial P1 or MX500(SATA))

RAM: Klevv 16gb DDR4 3200mhz

PSU: 650W Seasonic S12 III/Super Flower Leadex III (estimated voltage is 379W)

Monitor: (1 for gaming 2 for other purposes) (1)24inch dell 144hz monitor+
(2)27inch TBD monitor

Unconfirmed

GPU: was looking at either RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 but totally can see myself getting RTX 3060TI or 1650 super for 1040p instead if price don't come down forever (feel free to give me some recommendation tia)

Case: either tecware forge M Mesh or ask sls vendor choose for me

id say they are generally good parts. but do consider other motherboards, if u dont need so many usb ports on the mobo then do consider similarly priced msi or asrock b550 boards, gigabyte matx offerings for b550 run hot. also 1650 super offers like half the performance of 3060ti, not sure how it ended up on ur list but then again 1650s is like $250 while 3060ti is like $800++, so it is technically better value; good chance that 1650s can max out ur monitor refresh rate at 1080p low settings esports (1440p maybe not but still decent fps). u can also snag a used 1070 as a temp card for a solid 1440p hrr experience around the $200-300 price point, or if u want brand new get a 1660 super for up to $100 more.

Rtx 3060 releasing at end of feb is a good choice if only playing esports. Don't know the price but should be below 600 or 600ish? Try to snipe one on the day and minute it releases on shopee or lazada, should be easier to get, if cannot then next morning run to simlim asap and check all the shops haha.

Casing get those with mesh front ones for good airflow! Tecware is fine for budget case. Get some arctic p12 pwm case fan to help with more airflow if the case fans is insufficient.

For the mobo am I correct to say you meant I should look into other b550m cheaper option granted I don't need as many USB slots, I'm pretty sure I can get those USB ports for quite cheap so I can look up the price diff to see if it's worth.

The reason why the difference so drastic is pretty much I tried to go for mid tier system but after checking tradepac price I close tab go find something to run 1080p instead. Am not hopeful about gpu prices maybe will follow your advice go for used 1070 first.

Can consider the first version of meshify c from Fractal design if have. For fans, general if the case have mesh front, it should be fine. Just avoid casing like nzxt h510 etc.. Will you be overclocking the cpu ? If yes, then it will be better to get a beefier cpu cooler.

Yes I’m looking for recommendation too! Anyone has experience with Tecware Nexus Air M? It has mesh front and 4 fans. 1 more fan compared to other similar-priced cases commonly recommended here, such as Forge M and Silverstone PS15.

If so, consider the Fractal Design G Mini. Phanteks P300a too, albeit being an ATX case

If budget, space needed for your computer is not a concern, can consider something like the Meshify C/ Phanteks P400/500A/LIAN LI Lancool 215.

No, as you can tell from my usage I don't run games that are too demanding so I don't see a point oc-ing tbh. But I can see myself gaming for half a day when I have nothing better to do if so can I just get multiple artic p12 pwm?

Lancool II mesh, phanteks p400a/p500a, meshify c has good reviews, there are more of course.
Price diff vs local parts i think quite different, about 300-500sgd cheaper for 3070/5600x when u source parts and self build, but should be fine for assurance of support i guess.
Ensure adequate cooling for ur case can already. Don't starve it of fresh intake air and should be fine in non air con.

I think case I'll note down what yall suggest go sls or online see what's available or even better on sales.

GPU I think I'll try to get 3060 when it comes out before the price inflates if not I'll just monitor price for 3060/3060ti/the other mid tier stuff on sls and try to get most parts together let them help me assemble.

Also PSU, cos the warranty is v long should I go for SLS or just online?

What's the rationale in getting ssd from local, isit cos of warranty? Also I belatedly realize case probably not good to buy online cos shipping ex, or maybe its just a newegg thing their shipping more ex than the cooler rip.

yes, u could possibly look to asrock b550m pro 4 or msi b550m bazooka/pro-vdh wifi. or if u are feeling adventurous, u could get a good quality b450 board with beta bios support for zen 3, should be able to save some money too.

case wise i can only say stay away from the tecware nexus m (cant speak for the nexus air). so long as got mesh intake and ample space, should be decent. 2 recommendations i have are the silverstone ps15 and cooler master nr400, both reasonably priced and good airflow. and yes get local, u buy overseas ship here already same price. only time to get overseas is if the case not sold locally.

ram, ssd get from amazon. for ssd i would say get the wd black sn750, since it has international warranty.

Should be fine as long as you dont go for the cheapest. A lot of the cheaper priced products there are fakes. Make sure you go through their reviews as well!

At the end of the day, it’s best if you monitor both the prices of Amazon and local shops. I got a WDSN550 1TB @ $136 (after Lazada voucher+store voucher+bank voucher+ Item is on sale) from one of the SLS shop in Lazada. Amazon was going for $140 when I bought it and currently it is $134 I think. Can be quite tiring to keep monitoring the prices; just add items you are looking for in your cart/wishlist and monitor
