Hi,

I need help with building a PC.

I would like to play games like DOTA 2, Fallout 4, etc in ultra high settings.

I would be needing a wifi card and a monitor.

My budget can be around SGD 1500.

What are my options and is the budget enough?

Thank you!

I found a thread started by Masa27 on 09-01-2016, 03:45 PM which is the similar requirement as yours. you can change a little bit to fit into your requirements.

Thanks guys for being super helpful!

What's the difference between powercolor r9 390 pcs and Zotac GTX970?

How do I choose between them?

The 390 tends to be slightly faster than the 970 with 8gb of vram(970 has 3.5gb usuable) but does eat more power and release more heat. Shouldn't be much of an issue though since the cooler is adequete for it.

well at 1080p I don't think VRAM really matters :s13:

but yes 390 is a tad faster at a slightly higher price, with higher power consumption as well lol

True, you don't really need all that vram now for 1080p, but we will need more as time goes on, so it would be better to have some extra vram on standby rather than running out and seeing stutters everywhere, but then again i'm also really paranoid:s22:. http://www.tweaktown.com/tweakipedia/90/much-vram-need-1080p-1440p-4k-aa-enabled/index.html far cry 4 ultra with aa needs 3gb of vram, shadow of mordor reaches 3.3gb without aa and 4.7gb with aa and gta v stays at around 4gb with or without aa, all at 1080p. The 970 vram would start bottlenecking in shadow of mordor and gta v if it can run at that setting
