Hi Team,

Looking at a portable PC gaming rig (console size like RVZ03) due to commuting needs.

Any recommendations? Budget $1200, Already have ZOTAC 1070TI mini.

I suggest you hold off on the CPU+MB until Ryzen 3000 is out.

Some items you can consider - skip HDD and get a 2 TB Adata SX8300 Pro SSD at $389 (distro should have it for sale shortly), Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000 CL15 which is currently on sale at Amazon at around S$100.

Commuting needs? Get a laptop. Makes much more sense.
