Hey guys,

Apologies if this isn't the right section to post in, new here! Checked the guidelines as well.

How did you guys start off with PC building? I'm trying to jump into the world of PC building and get a job in that field but I'm not sure where or how to start other than videos, I don't really have a need for a better computer right now, might upgrade in the near future though as well as get a job for PC building.

Been reading and watching quite a lot of tutorials from various Youtube channels and PC sites regarding PC building and I'm really excited to hop into it, trying to find a PC building job currently but having trouble.

Any advice much appreciated regarding this.

Thanks!

Well, I started of just building on my own with some of youtube vids. Then, help my friend as well as my relatives then to others. Once I am pretty confident, start working at SLS to gain more experience and knowledge.

You have a pc at home? Open up and study the connection/cabling carefully. Take snapshot if necessary. Now tear down the whole damn thing and try putting it back. :D

His main purpose is to want to find a job relating to pc building.

Yep, this. Still quite thankful for the tips so far though, they do help!

I struggle with job finding as employers tend to skip me over due to me not attending NS due to hearing impairment and probably lack of experience.
