I've managed to fix the issue by booting with my old 2400mhz rams, then reset the bios back to default and update it to the latest version. Now my vengeance LPX are running at the rated 3200mhz

Also, my rigs haven't had a CD drive for about half a decade already

interesting...how come asus bios never reset after you clear cmos.
like quite dangerous to try new settings le.

So weird...can boot with old rams but not new rams and yet new rams are not faulty...
