PC Cant turn on ( Split Second Light Up)

Hi all,

Need help, just now when i turn on my pc i saw my pc light on for a split moment , and thats all.

Change the power supply cable same thing, light on for split second that's all.

So is it my PSU or MB problem? Is my motherboard be fried?

I didn't add anything new to the hardware side.

Im using OEM win7, so if I wana change the psu, MB and processor, do I need to buy a new win 7?
I didn't backup my files in my HD though

Suspect motherboard short-circuited.

Check the power cable to the hdd. Swap it by another connector and see if it boots up.

If its faulty,the fan will not spin OR the fan will spin a shuts it self off in a few Secs. So allow the fan to spin for awhile and see of it shuts off by itself

As for the OS. You Do NOT ned to reinstall u just just need to reactivate windows and install the drivers for the mbo. If its faulty

Should be PSU got problem. The day before yesterday I also have this problem. Change to my spare PSU, problem solved.

Thanks both, pct close yesterday, so i went home, unplug all the cables to the mobo, only left the direct connection to the fans.
Turn on nothing happen,fans not running, plug back everything now PC can on as per normal!
XD
