[Solved] PC Cold Start Issue

When my desktop is started e.g. for first time for the day, it will take forever to load in Windows loading screen.

After a few reset, it will boot into Windows and function normally.

Is this a sign of failing SSD?

I have tried removing all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.

##### Update #####

Symptom:
  • USB device connect and disconnect infinitely for certain USB port
  • USB device not detected in BIOS
  • Unable to boot into USB bootable device e.g. Parted Magic, Windows 8/10 Installer from BIOS (unless restarting from Windows)

Cause: Faulty motherboard

Solution: Replace with new motherboard

Hope this will help someone in future!

Try disconnect the WD Black and see if issue persists?

More likely a sign of failing PSU.

Not again? Just RMA-ed my Seasonic PSU about one year ago.
