PC Components in a new rig

Hi all,

I would like to solicit some feedback on the following pc setup due end of this month.

I am primarily using it for statistical and data analytics and some occasional gaming. Could any of you advise if it is good to go or are they some compatibility issues?

My budget is approximately $3.2k and intend to get most of these parts from Newegg / amazon.

Motherboard: Asus Crosshair 7
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x (running stock cooler)
Memory: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB 3200mhz CL14
Power Supply: Seasonic Prime Titanium 750W
GPU: MSI Rtx 2080 Gaming Z
SSD1: Samsung Evo 960 Pro 500GB M2 NVME (purchased)
SSD2: Crucial 1TB Sata SSD
Case: Lian Li Pc011 Dynamic
Fans: 6 x Corsair LL120 PWM RGB fans

Also, as I intend to overclock the cpu, I wonder if the Strix X470-F board is good enough or do I need the Crosshair to achieve the desired results?

The 2700x won't overclock much as it's already pushing the limit. Especially if you stick to stock cooling. You'll need to look at the new DeepCool or BeQuiet or Noctua or just go for liquid cooling.

If you're gonna seriously overclock the cpu, that stock cooler wont be enough. Either go for liquid cooling or get a strong aftermarket cooler.
