PC crashed while gaming

Hi guys need help.

Recently my PC keep crashing while playing games like Football manager 2015 and CS : GO. i tried reformat the PC but the problem doesn't goes away. shows me BSOD with the error "MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION". Tried taking out my RAM and put it back again but still useless. My Comp is about 5 years old. any suggestions to remedy my pC ?

Hard disk issue maybe? Only crash when playing FM?

Download memtest86 to test your ram. If fail, isolate by using one piece at a time.
If no issue, download HDTune to scan for bad sectors.

i only tested playing counter strike and FM2015. both crashed.

Tested with memtest no errors reported. doing HDscan now

On board graphic or standalone graphic card?


Maybe graphic card issue?

stand alone graphic card.. im also suspecting its graphic card issue.. how do i go about resolving ?

did HDtune error scan.. still nothing found.. any more solutioons

I ever got this, all i did was take out GPU and rams and re-sit them, also brush out the dust on the fans. You can try re-sit GPU since u already tried rams, or do it once everything again and see how

1) Download and run BlueScreenView and see what system processes are causing the BSOD.

2) Got spare GPU?

since it only crash when gaming, high probability the graphics card gona die soon. If you have iGPU can test it but remove the graphics card first and test.

Resit my GPU... will update on progress.. today just crashed again before i resit my GPU.. and also downloaded bluescreenview after the crash.. will update with crashed again

take out memory cards clean the contacts, works for me
