Want to get a desktop for my parents as a Christmas gift. Doesn't need to be top of the line as it will probably only be used for web browsing, streaming videos, torenting etc. Not sure if it would be cheaper to get a prebuilt one or build one out of older PC parts. If anyone has any suggestions about the model or parts to recommend it would be greatly appreciated

I think I'm looking for something slightly more powerful as I don't want any lag when using a few applications at a time and I would appreciate more memory on it since my parents are likely to download a lot of shows and dramas on the pc

MOBO+CPU: Asrock H81M-HDS + G3258 $174
RAM: Kingston 4GD DDR3 1600mhz $32
HDD: WD Blue 1TB $77
PSU: FSP 300W OEM $39
CASE: Silverstone sp-08b $52
OS: Window 7/8/10 from Reddit <Click link $30

Total $404, all from PCtheme except OS.

There are still ways to save $10~$20 more but troublesome.
