install new HDD neew special program to use? :s13:

defrag your current HDD and see if it is better.

clean up files on your SSD, run the clean up program to delete unnecessary junks and shadow copies of system restore/windows update. SSD will run slower when the capacity is almost maxed.

Sata is backwards compatible and will rum at slowest sata speed. Say your board only supports sata 2 but your hdd sata3, it will only run at sata 2 speed at best. Then again HDD won't be bottle necked by Sata bandwidth limitation. Before you spend any money I suggest.you find out what exactly is the problem first.

It is still a problem right now? Unless you are on a legacy BIOS and older version of Windows I suppose? :s11:
Some people can install their Windows 7 with MBR and there are still many motherboard using BIOS. /Gigabyte....
