PC has this weird problem

Hi guys i'm facing this problem with my PC and I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Whenever I touch my PC a little or accidentally kick it etc, it will slow my FPS down like from 100 fps to 20 fps and sometimes even jam and hang. Fixing it will require a hard shutdown then switching it on a few seconds later.

I thought I had fixed it by taking out a hard drive (i have 1 SDD and 1 normal hard drive, now I only have the SDD). It fixed the problem for about 1 week? I could kick the PC and nothing would happen but now it's back.

Any thoughts on what's causing the problem and what components I should be changing? Thanks

Well for starter maybe u can list the parts of your PC?

Can reposition desktop to table top? Maybe GPU contact issue each time you bang the desktop with your leg.

i realise sometimes for no reason it will also slow down after i watch some anime, even though i didn't bang it

well im not sure if ur mb have on board gpu or not, maybe u can try using that and see?

Maybe your GPU slot grip on the GPU card is loose already.

TS, i suggest you check on your resource monitor and see which one take up the highest performance.

Open up your case and check inside the contacts of your GPU with the mb and the screw fixated on the GPU.

Sounds like some mechanical problem like loose connection.

You can try using the other PCIE slot on your motherboard and also secure the card as firmly as possible and try to reposition the case to avoid "kicking" if possible lol and see how it goes....pcie 3.0 and 2.0 on your board should not effect the performance of your gfx.

Agree with others. Sounds like a mechanical problem. Could be connection of GPU. Could be fan stopped turning.

Inside very dusty? If so remove dust by using air blower to dislodge dust and vacuum after.

Maybe disconnect GPU connections and reconnect.

Disconnect the wireless receiver and reconnect.

If that doesn't work try disconnecting hard disk and reconnecting to same port or, if no improvement, another port.
