Pc keep restarting without bsod (Seasonic PSU)

Hi need some advice.

My com keep restarting whenever I start playing games. Every time I use my com for a few hours and then I start a game my com will power off and on again.

Things I've done:
Went to rma my gfx but they tested my gfx is fine
Did memory test in my ram and no prob detected
Ran occt psu test with my gfx plugged out and it was fine

My specs:
I5-4460
Asrock h81m-hds
Evga 750ti
4gb ram
Seasonic g series 550w

Really at wits end. I even tried changing the power supply cable but it didn't help.

If it is not hardware, then must be software problems.

Google for driver verifier manager.

Happened to me before. After making sure all the necessary Windows updates were installed, the problem went away. Might be worth a try first, before reformatting and re-installing the OS!

Use realtemp or some program to monitor your temperatures. I suspect its heat issues also since you only have problems after a few hours of using the computer

make sure all your sata cable are connected if you supply power source to hardware. My pc used to have this issue when I was testing out my ssd and hdd previously so I would just unplug the sata cable but leaving the psu cable on the hdd. after my testing completed I forgot to plug back the sata cable and following my pc just restart at random.
Tldr, make sure all your psu and sata cable are connected properly. they could be loose or something.

thanks guys. i sent it to techpro at sls and he tested is the PSU.

going to send to corbell for rma. usually how long does it take to replace the PSU? i really dont want to wait a week without my PC. ready quite frustrated esp since my PSU is less than 6mths old and i dont do any overclocking to stress the PSU

ok called them up. they say no stock on hand so cannot do 1 to 1 exchange on the spot.

i asked when will the stock come, they say ETA not known. maybe 1-2 weeks. will gimme a call when the stock comes.

i asked if they can provide a stand-in unit for the time being cause no PSU means i dont have a working PC. they say not in their policy.

i asked if i can get another unit as replacement. as long as the specs roughly similar i dont mind. they also say cannot.

just wondering if this is normal practice? cause if it's like gfx spoil, they dont provide stand-in unit then still can use the PC. i no PSU, i cant do work or anything else (like play games haha!) on my PC. thats super disruptive.

a little tempted to jitao buy another brand liao. some more the PSU less than 6mths like that liao. not say i use very power-hungry components also. zzz

Wow, cases like this almost make you wonder what's the point of local warranty...might as well buy from Amazon? Just saying.

haha that's what i thought. always believe the slight premium in price for local warranty is worth it. i guess not?

esp inconvenient for working adults. i alrdy have to take leave or ask boss for favor just to go down. then still need to wait.

I have similar experience like u before. Your PSU fail just need to get another one install and continue with your work. Mine is MSI mainboard failed within months. Took leave to go down to Corbell. First time lucky they have stock for 1 to 1 exchange. But I need to reinstall windows cause win 7 see it as a new PC. Then that MB failed again in a month with same problem! Took leave to Corbell again but they say no stock. I got to wait at least 2 weeks! No choice, I went to sim lim square and bought a different brand MB & reinstall windows again....

Then like 2 weeks or so when Corbell call me to collect the replacement MB, I also scare that model will not last and dare not sell it. It end up as a white elephant in my store.

Just curious, if your TV spoilt, do you expect the vendor supply with one to stand in ?

haha interestingly, my tv spoilt before. they provided a new one on the spot when i told them the tv is not functional. and it was on-site service somemore. the fella came up, see the tv was really spoilt and he went down and brought a new working set for me.

guess i was lucky? or manufacturers just nice almost always have spare stock for TV?

haha samsung. think about a year back. was impressed because for tv, very unlikely they will bring such a bulky item down to replace or provide as backup.
