**PC Keeps Restarting but no BSOD or errors logs!** HELP

Hi guys,

Was wondering any tech GURU here may be of assistance would really appreciate it very very much and thank you to those who respond.

I'm currently facing an issue where my PC restarts every time I play a game call PUBG and stream at the same time etc this usually happens when the PC is stressed it will just restart into black screen and windows boots up again with a log stating (do you want to start windows normally) no error log no BSOD reports just plain restart.

But when i play other title games and don't stream it will be fine, even for this game itself PUBG if i turn of SLI on my TitanX and do not stream the game runs fine.

Pior to this i had a problem with my MOBO bios monitor settings as you can see i'm using the ASUS x99-deluxe so before i turned off (Monitor Power Surge) & (Monitor chassis intruded) if those two settings were turn on my in the bios the computer would also restart after a few mins into the windows desktop after that it will notify me why either one of this reason in the bios.


Really hope somebody can help me solve this problem, i've also tried windows memory test everything is fine.

My only suspect i feel is the Power supply.

Intel - Core i7-5960X
Asus - X99-DELUXE
Corsair - Dominator Platinum 64GB (8 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
2x EVGA - Titan X 12GB HYBRID Video Card SLI
Corsair - AX1200i
Custom Water Cooling Build for GPU & CPU
Windows 7 64bit

Try replacing the PSU since this is the most easy way for your custom water cooled rig.

Hi there Singupingu thank you so much for the reply, I've yet to run aida64/prime95 together with furmark, i shall do it tonight, is there anything i should look out for to find the culprit that is causing this in the bench test.

For games, if i stream Overwatch with SLI enable if i recall correctly it restarted as well but not as often as PUBG, because when i RUN pubg in SLI and streaming after 2mins it will auto restart for overwatch it depends sometimes can sometimes it will restart. and sometimes it does goes into bios stating that my overclock has failed but funny i've set all my setting to default and i've never overclocked or used the AUTO XMP in the BIOS, i've sort of fixed that problem of the bios failing because that time my motherboard battery ran out so i changed a new one and all seems fine for that, now only thing that is causing is just strictly auto restarts no more overclock failed issues anymore.

But i did try before, when i run AUTO XMP my computer won't be able to boot because it will state overclock failed, so from day one i've not overclock this machine it always has been on default everything is set to automatic in the BIOS auto Tunner.

I tried without SLI yesterday on PUBG and no problems i didn't get any restart, also i went to nividia and changed the energy to optimal settings and went to windows and change power options to HIGH performance.

That's about it.

Got it i will test it later, is there a specific temperature monitoring software you all use ? while stress testing ?

first check 12v rail and other psu cable got connect properly or not. then use another psu to test if yr psu is spoil (mine was psu) can also be ram;mobo or worse case processor. slowly isolate and try.

had similar issues before, it was the psu.

If not psu then most likely is mobo, check your ram too just in case

I have a feeling it is a psu problem too, because my AX1200i psu makes a funny electrical noise when i go listen to it, it is not the fan kind of noise, is like those electrical kind of noise that when two connectors are not connected properly that kind.

I have very high suspicion it is the psu, i'll have to run and get another ax1200i aiyoo!! later the brand new one same problem, corsair powersupply really PRAY RNG one for a good psu from them.

should be Power supply. YOu already diagnose it.... :D

@ralliart_ray thanks for the feed back i also thought so, but i'm gonna do a few stress test recommended above and see if it is really the psu, i will do one with SLI test and one without. will see

my corsair rm750x also had this noisy thing and during games my pc start rebooting. seem like corsair psu abit doh. gotten another corsair rm1000i no problem since. no choice wanted 1000watt and sleeves cable and also the ability to use cablemod cable in the future. if not i wont get a corsair anymore.

Yup at archyng i think it's confirm the PSU, because i remember very clearly yesterday, when all that bad restarting was happening, what i did was DISABLE SLI and ran on optimal power performance for my single titanX and change the power option in windows to high performance, my PUBG RAN SMOOTHLY no problems very very good no restarts as well. testing it for a good 1 hr and 30mins no problems.

Guess bye bye Corsair i'm gonna throw my money on the Seasonic Prime 1000w Titanium.
