Hi, I have checked event viewer and saw the following. I have installed new drivers using nvidia experience but the problem still persist.

Warning: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Error: The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video3
0cec(3188) 00000000 00000000

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

This sounds like a graphics card driver issue. To fix this download and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) Followed by a restart. This will remove all traces of the display driver. Then go back to GeForce and reinstall and you should be good to go,...

downgrade to an older driver

If the problem was there before an upgrade then a downgrade isn’t going to work either until the system is cleaned out using DDU

Will need to monitor for awhile as it occurs very randomly, sometimes it is fine for days then suddenly it lags. Thanks for the help, will update if anything happens again.
