Hi all, thinking of getting a new PC

Or if you have other better lobangs, feel free to share also :)

Won't recommend getting prebuilt from them as they tend to have questionable components and configuration. They are middlemen of another 2 middlemen, and profit margin is their priority.

You can get something like that. This is based on SLS Dynacore pricelist. You can get shops like Dynacore, PC Themes, Fuwell to build for you.

CPU + MBMSI B660M-A + 12400F$470Good combo for the price. B660M-A allows upgrading to 12700 in the future if required.
GPUAsus Tuf Gaming RTX3070Ti O8GB V2 OC Triple Fan$1065One of the best triple fan options.
CPU COOLERScythe Fuma 2 Rev.B$83A great cooler that can also cool a 12700F. A no-brainer. Performs better than questionable 240mm AIO.
PSUSuperflower Leadex III 750W$145Good quality PSU has a proven track record in durability and provides room for future upgrades.
SSDSamsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB$187Good quality SSD with a proven track record in durability
RAM16 GB G.SKILL RIPJAWS V 3600Mhz CL18$98Won't go wrong
CASEPhanteks G360A Black Mesh DRGB Airflow TG$138New case in the market, great value and reputable brand.
$2186

Quality of parts are far superior to the rigs they quoted you, better in the long run.

i would personally stay far far away from aftershock, as their qc and after sales support are horror stories in their own right. not heard much bad things about dreamcore and mansa, so i would assume that theirs are far better. mansa does have somewhat expensive builds compared to the competition, and this is no exception. not only is the dreamcore build the cheapest, the mobo and gpu are good quality ones, perhaps even better than what phen8210 has suggested in his list, while those offered by aftershock and mansa are pretty subpar: the mobos may throttle and/or run very hot with higher end cpus should u choose to upgrade in the future and the cards are the budget models. while the dreamcore psu isnt great, it is at least still better than the ones offered by the other 2 si. the 5600x will be faster than the 12400f as suggested by phen, and u will probably be overpaying for the 5800x in the aftershock build.

tldr go for dreamcore, though if possible do try to upgrade the psu to a known good one, eg tier a or b in this list. asking sls shops to build as suggested by phen is also a good idea as u can save some money and have more flexibility in part selection, though u have to be sure of what u want and have to ownself troubleshoot/rma if anything goes wrong.

Actually self diy build has more benefits to learn for troubleshooting.
Unless u prefer brands like Alienware or Lenovo.
Others than that do u installation your own.
Buy parts from Shopee and Lazada have more discount due to 8.8 is coming soon

dynacore also offers the 5600 non x + msi b550m pro vdh wifi for the same price as the intel combo, should be very similar in gaming performance.

if TS gaming at 1440p or 4k I believe so with minimum gaming performance differences since mostly will be gpu bound.

DC's motherboard and graphic card offering thrash the other 2. The other components close 1 eye since aftersales service provided. If need to choose between the 3 options it's quite a no brainer, price also better. But this is HWZ forum, u give option 1 2 3, but people will tell u to go for option 4 = DIY

5600x is not faster than 12400f. 12400 has around 20% more total CPU resources. The single core is also faster.

The X570 mobo is indeed better. But for a simple system build usually no point in going for a high-end board.

In terms of GPU, TUF gaming OC has a slight edge over the MSI gaming X Trio for GPU in all things that matter. Anyway, Dynacore has the MSI Gaming X Trio OC variant, and that costs $1029, which is cheaper (-$36) than the TUF Gaming OC, it can be considered as well.

The image below shows stock cooling performance for RTX 3080. In OC Quiet Bios, the results are equivalent. But in stock settings, the TUF gaming is superior even against MSI suprim.

In the 3080 variants, the TUF Gaming OC also had higher max power limits and vrm capabilities. For typical usage, it doesn't really matter. Just sharing.

Overall, both are okay, I picked TUF for better cooling.

12400f is a little slower than the 5600x in gaming, about 6%. in productivity, they are basically neck and neck.

well of the 3 systems to choose from in ts, it is in the cheapest build (even cheaper than ur suggested diy build), so why not?

Laptop and monitor not done by them, should avoid to buying in future.
Desktop is diy installation by them. Those warranty can cover by the supplier.
If they’re busy didn’t send to warranty, you guys Gg, have to wait.

my suggestion is diy build by own.
don’t know how to build , can learn from YouTube or ask somebody here. 😜
Part failed can refer to seller for RMA.

I also feel just DIY build yourself. They can promise like oh help you with warranty but never know. In the end, you are still on your own. Just do yourself and claim warranty yourself easier. You don't need to rely on their response.

I had so many screw-ups on my first build way back but it's actually fun opening up the new boxes and start fixing yourself. And like what others suggest, YouTube is your best friend. And if you don't know anything there's hwz, Reddit etc can look up information or ask or even telegrams that are for PC technical enquiries.

You have so much information that you don't actually need help from these PC builders tbh. I feel people who go to them are really lazy to research and know nothing about PC and just let them build. Not wrong but just that I feel there are better alternatives la and case save more if you buy parts from big sale like 9.9,11.11 etc.
