Recently my desktop has been running into some issues:
1) Unable to boot - after the power button is pressed, nothing happens. No fans spin, no lights, nothing. It won't work for the next few hours, but the next morning it works somehow. Able to boot normally. This has happened thrice over the past two weeks.
2) Whirring sound - when my pc boots up, there's a whirring sound that seems to come from the optical drive but it goes away after about 5 minutes.
I'm not sure what the problem here is - my PSU is new (barely a year old) and so is my GPU (1.5 years) but everything else is about 4 years old. Please advise.
