PC Problem - Hardware experts lip lai

Hi guys!

Problem:
Switched on PC, LED lights working, all fans working, monitor blue light turned on and the monitor showed the usuals like the temperature display. Then the option to 'startup repair' or 'start windows normally' came out but it will show a black screen 1sec later despite whichever option you entered.

Things that I've done:

1) Motherboard: RMA and replaced my mobo at Kaira and the new one was able to boot into windows using their monitor and PSU. (This was tested without my RAM and CPU slotted)

2) PSU: Replaced the main power cable as it was loose and had some static sounds when I move it around. Bought new cable from PC Themes and it fits tightly.

3) Tried to boot into windows with/without my internal HDD and the same problem happens.

I assume that my mobo is perfectly fine. HDD i'll try swapping with my friend's.
I guess it's either the PSU or monitor?

Any experts have similar experinces or recommend any solutions? Thanks in advance!

Had the same problem previously, turned out I simply hadn't seated it properly.

I just tried taking out both my 2gb sticks to no avail.
Tried individual sticks to no avail too.

Hmm i got a feeling its the PSU or monitor.

Anyway do u know if i'm able to boot into windows using an external hdd?

It could either be GPU or HDD issue.

Are you using integrated graphics or a dedicated one?

If it is monitor issue, then you won't even see anything on display.
