Accidentally switch off my PC without proper shutdown and now the PC can start but monitor screen is blank.

Normally when I boot up, it will have a beep sound. But now no sound and the monitor auto sleep stating that cannot detect signal from computer. Monitor confirm is working coz i can connect my laptop to it.

Change from DVI cable to VGA cable also cannot. Connect cable to onboard graphic also cannot.

I am using a SSD and I suspect SSD die on me? Coz the computer hardisk light is not flickering (but I admit I did not check whether did it flicker in the past). I try to go into BIOS but the problem is my monitor got no signal from my PC and can't see anything... What are the other possible reasons? :( gum sia...

Please list out your PC specs.

After you press the power button, is the power LED lit? do the fans in the PC run?

if it's a laptop, you can remove battery, unplug from power, press on power button for about 15 secs and try again.

when u switch on, try pressing f8 and see if you can access the safe mode? or at least get to the menu where it allows u to boot from last known configuration?

how did you do this exactly? plug and replug while the pc was switched on? or remove the graphics card while powered down, plugging into onboard video port, then powering up?

One obvious thing: did you plug your monitor to your graphics card or the onboard graphics?

I remember someone previously mixed up and plugged wrongly to the inactive onboard graphics.
