PC randomly freezes during use.

Problem started about 1-2 months ago. My PC would randomly freeze while in use. No clear correlation on why it would hang, but it might freeze while i was watching a Youtube video, browsing Reddit, looking through Steam, or while playing a game. Once it freezes, the only way to resolve it is through a forced shutdown by pressing and holding the power button. What should i do to troubleshoot what is wrong with my PC?

As usual do the basic trobleshooting
Monitor the temp
Memtest the memory, reseat memory
Check hdd
Check for corrupted win10 files
Reseat gfx card
Reinstall drivers

You can first try out tigerwoods's suggestion.
What's your computer's spec and age of all components ? If nothing been change and computer start to freeze can be due
to faulty hardware.

I also encountered similar issue in my newly build pc recently and the issue seems to be resolved after I realised I didn’t install chipset driver.

There is no easy way to troubleshoot a computer that freezes or not working properly. You should start with easy to check things like temperature, if the fans are working, and recall when the issue started and if you did any software updates around that time. If all these are fine, then you need to check with 1 RAM stick at a time to eliminate if it is a RAM problem. Troubleshooting is a case of elimination and see which is the likely cause of it. Most parts unfortunately, most people won't keep spare, so may be hard to test.

1. Reslot the rams
2. Check if ram slot capacitors has any abnormally
3. Update drivers, every single one of them.
4. Update c++ redistributable, every single one of them.
5. Run "sfc /scannow" to check and fix corrupted files

Ur system drive prob gone case already , even reinstall new window also no use
