Need some help here guys! Desktop tends to go into sleep mode when i game. But when i try waking it up, doesn't happen. usually will have to press the reset button or perform a hard reset. Anyone knows what could be the problem? Event viewer is showing this.

TS, list down all parts of your rig including the power supply unit.

"PC shutting down abruptly" - but frm ur description, u are manually doing hard power reset?
"Desktop tends to go into sleep mode when i game" - do u mean ur monitor screen no signal, goes to power save mode?

if ur gpu is on auto fan speed, can u manually set higher speed 75-90% when gaming to test? also monitor gpu & cpu temps

yes yes.. i think the screen no signal and goes into power save mode. Coz i still hear the cpu fan sound. what could be the cause?

Go to your monitor setting and look for power save/auto shutoff/timer off option and off it.

problem seems to be resolved after setting gpu fan to 75% and above... hmm! thanks for the solution. :s12:
