PC turn off after 1 second

My PC turns off after pressing the power button, fan and everything spins then no more.
motherboard LED show it's on
connected the CPU 8 pin and 24 pin to the PSU
tried with 1 stick of RAM still same problem
any idea?
no way to test if RAM and PSU is the problem...

GPU is working fine

PSU - you can use the paperclip method. Youtube got video.

Also check your mobo capacitor, whether got bloated or not.

Faced similar issue before, mobo capacitor bloated... RMA mobo.

i tested my psu on my old lga 775 board
same problem, turn on 1 second and turn off
safe to say it's the PSU problem?

anyway, PSU brand new, can go back to the store for 1 to 1 exchange or need go to distro?

any beep sound ?
did u just re-sit the cpu and was not installed properly(dented pin etc) ?
was stand-off installed ?

mobo 4/8pin and 24pin was plugin properly ?

reset cmos ?

if within 7 day can return to shop. shd call first.

i saw at tp a person came to return faulty gfx he was told to come again on weekday.

Same reason, you asked them why? they will tell you our stocks are for the customer over the wkend...Or they will tell you, go back to distro...Huh!
Stand there and argue over your rights as a customer and not their policy, Finally they gave in.

btw i tried using my 350w psu (only has 1 4 pin to connect to the cpu) but totally can't boot up
using my new psu, i connect only 1 4 pin instead of the 2x 4 pin connector can boot but will automatically turn off

possible motherboard problem?
