Recently my 3 year+ rig died , cpu fan spin for a sec and stop

dismantle everything and leaving mb+cpu+ram+psu , same problem.

tested PSU(FSP) with paperclip , it spin and stop. thinking it might be psu problem , went down to tech dynamic to check on my PSU bringing my mb+cpu+ram along, tested the PSU and it was working on their rig , they look at my MB and say probly is MB died.

they also mention that some PSU are unable to spin all the way unless its full load or something

went back and requested my friend mb+cpu+ram to test this PSU and again spin for a sec and stop

any solution ?

that's a conundrum... you sure your friend's mb/cpu/ram is in working condition? in any case, bring your mb/cpu/ram down to Tech Dynamic, and if their own PSU can power up your mb/cpu/ram, and your PSU can't, it's irrefutable proof that your PSU is faulty.

it was his current rig , he shutdown and we tested the PSU on the rig and same problem ( fan spin and stop)

guess worse to worse i will arrange another day to head down again :<

you should take a video and show to the FSP staff.

Look like the psu is the one that cause the problem.
