PC unable to post?

Hey guys, my PC suddenly went black screen yesterday and I was unable to power it up again.

I had went to bought a replacement PSU and my PC is able to power up now but it won't show anything. The fan,north bridge and south bridge heatsink still heats up when I power it on but the 2x ram stick are cold... Keyboard has no lights at all.

I have tried removing everything and reseat and clearing CMOS.

It shows 0 on the motherboard onboard screen at the start when I power it up. My motherboard is FM2A88X Extreme 6 and the APU is A10 series. Using onboard graphics. No display and no beep sound either.

What could be the issue?

Hi Rashkae, thank you for your help. I have just tried it but my PC is still unable to POST.

Could the sudden failure from my PSU caused my motherboard CMOS to get damaged or BIOS to get corrupted? My previous PC also had a similar failure .. but after removing the battery for a day, it was able to POST normally.. But it failed again the next few cold boot.

If CPU fried will it cause the rams to not receive any power and be cold when in power? Because I have noticed that all other components are generating heat except ram for some unknown reason. The Ethernet port has indication light on and it seems to be working but not sure about the USB port though but I will try to get device to test the power on the ports.

P.S does anyone know any shop or place to test the components?

Usually it may be cause by RAM.
Try to use 1 RAM to start first/test and if not on different slot &or RAM stick.

If the CPU is dead, then of course the RAM will not be used / powered. RAM is initialized after the BIOS loads, which is after the CPU boot. The error code 0 is a general unknown error code, but usually indicates an issue with BIOS or worst case, CPU

APU. A10-7850k
Ram sticks. TEAM XTREME 2400MHZ 1.65V 4Gb x 2
New PSU. Thermaltake Smart RGB Series
And HDD

Tried that too earlier. My motherboard has this onboard display that shows the error code and different types of beeping sound if the is ram loose or no ram or any other problem when boot. But this time it doesn't show anything other than a quick flash of 0 at power up and no beeping. I'm not sure if that's supposed to happen during boot.

Something weird happened after I removed all the components and the CMOS battery and left the jumper on to clear CMOS.

I forgot about it and powered on while I was testing with my old PSU and
The PSU fan will auto spin even when I did not press the power button on my motherboard. same thing even after I have place the CMOS cap in its original slot and put back the CMOS battery. The new PSU does this too now when it is connected to the motherboard.

Now it's making the new PSU RGB fan glow and dim as though I am pressing the restart button.
