Hi all,

I have been busy at work, and I feel like treating myself to an upgrade.
Have not had the time to play, but main game is WoW (WoW-killer where art thou?) and upcoming/new games (such as The Division, etc.).

Below is my current setup:

INTEL CORE I5 2500K 3.3GHZ QUAD CORE PROCESSOR
ASROCK Z68 EXTREME 4 (B3) MOTHERBOARD
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770
KINGSTON 4GB DDR3 1333MHZ CL9 MEMORY *2
Crucial MX100 512GB SSD + SAMSUNG 1TB 32MB HDD
DELL U2414H *2
FSP AURUM GOLD 600W POWER SUPPLY UNIT
COOLERMASTER ELITE 430 CHASSIS

Upgrade to:
GPU - to 980ti?
CPU - Not sure what is the performance impact of upgrading
Motherboard - Not sure what is the performance impact of upgrading

Unlikely I will upgrade all at the same time, but open to suggestions.
Will also need to know if any of the upgrades above will be limited by my casing.

I am no hardware person, so if it requires more than inserting into slots, I will *probably* engage someone to assemble (used to engage fortran) unless I am feeling it.

Thanks!

No need to change CPU. Just change your GPU to GTX 980 Ti, upgrade your RAM to 8GB and change your PSU to 750W to support GTX 980 Ti.

The performance gain from Sandy bridge to Skylake for gaming is not really worth the upgrade.

I rather you to upgrade your gpu but if can wait, wait for Pascal-based or Polaris-based GPU.

My opinion is your CPU still have enough mileage. Can consider getting an AIO cooler and overclock it.

As for GPU, U2414 is 1080 resolution monitor. If you are on a budget, maybe a gtx 970? If you have money to spend, maybe consider the r9 nano around $8xx?
