Casing - CoolerMaster Elite 310 (Corsair 800D)
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 (???????????????)
Memory - Kingston HyperX DDR3-1600Mhz Low Voltage 4GB x2
PSU - Andyson F600M Modular 88% 600W
Monitor - Samsung LA26B350F1 (haha given the comments on how chui my monitor is, i went to buy a 39" Sharp FullHD at $400. i'm running 1920x1080 now)

Those in brackets are parts that I'm upgrading to. I'm keeping those without.
I need recommendations on whether or not I should change my GPU to a GTX 670, 760 or 770.
Could 770 be too much of an overkill?
and if I shouldn't get the 770, should I get the 670 or the 760? (670 is an msi 670 gtx power edition oc at $420)

IMHO, don't think you really need an upgrade for yr processor and mb, not much of a difference to the extent of upgrade, the GPU is the one that will probably need an upgrade, prices of 760 is falling, you might want to wait and see if it's not too urgent.

I think there may be little benefit to get the GTX760/770 if you're planning to game on your 1366x768 monitor, since the 460 should do pretty well on high settings gaming at that resolution (with exception of Crysis 3 I suppose...)

You may want to consider getting a full HD 23" and pair it with a 7950? AMD cards still quite the bang for buck even with the release of the nVidia 700 series.

Wow... your monitor. I think more so than any other part, that's the number 1 priority to upgrade. I didn't realize the 26" monitor is not even full HD!

23-24" 1080p (1920 x 1080) monitors can be had for less than $200 2nd hand. Even first hand they're not much more expensive around $250-$350 for a decent one at SLS.

1366 x 768 on a 26" screen means the pixel density is really low. Bad for reading text, websurfing etc... The monitor is where you consume 100% of the content from your computer.

Most important... (1) Budget? Lol

(2) Doing over-clocking? If yes, you NEED a aftermarket CPU cooler, else, can go for cheaper boards and CPU.

(3) Gaming/Graphics Design/Video Editing? If no, just use on-board graphics..

(4) You might wanna find other cheaper 240+ Gb of SSD instead? Keep the HDD to store files. SSD only for installing and running applications.

(5) What else you looking for in a new built? Need "bling bling"?

(6) And yah.. You might wanna consider upgrading your monitor. Go IPS if you got budget..

Oh yeah everything that is priced above has been used.
Is it at a good price if it's about a year old?

Quite a ok price. shd have 2 years warranty left? It's performs better than a gtx 760 which is priced similar brand new.
